Yoga Mechanics at the Massage Table
Creating Longevity in the Field of Massage

Do you feel physically drained, sore or in pain after your work day? Do you struggle with repetitive stress to your joints due to your work? This unique approach to healthy body mechanics for bodyworkers is based on the yoga's principles of mindfulness and alignment.  This approach will reduce stress on your arms, hands and back.

Use gravity to work smarter not harder. Work from the center of your weight, and integrate techniques to protect the primary tool of your trade: the hands.  In this class, you will learn and practice principles of healthy Yoga mechanics at the massage table, and apply them to all the activities involved in performing a massage: standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.  Mindfulness-based practice will be emphasized to help you avoid the repetitive stress injuries common to massage therapists.

Everyone can benefit from this class. No prior yoga experience required. This class satisfies the 8 hour in-person class involving the  direct application of massage therapy. $170
