Acupressure's Potent Points for Common Complaints 1

Monday, March 16, 2026

9:00 to 6:00 pm Pacific Time, 8 NCBTMB approved CE hours

Acupressure is the Chinese healing art of restoring balance to Chi (lifeforce energy) to optimize health. In this introduction to Acupressure course, you will learn more than the fundamentals. You will learn potent points and Acupressure sequences for your clients' most common complaints. In this class, you will learn point locations and functions to address: shoulder-neck tension, headaches, insomnia, stress, PMS, menstrual cramps and hot flashes. You will learn Chinese massage techniques to activate points, and Jin Shin Acupressure, a powerful technique that is gentle on your body but works deeply on your clients. Throughout the class, you will have the opportunity to cultivate self-care by using these Acupressure sequences on yourself, as well as to practice on others.

This class is Day 1 of a 2-day class. Day 1 and Day 2 can be taken in any order, together or separately.

Day 2 will be offered in Bellingham on October 17, 2026.

8 NCBTMB approved CE hours for each day.

This course meets the pre-requisite requirement for our in-depth program, Integrating Chinese Medicine into Massage Therapy.

This is a stepping stone into the deeper healing path that Chinese Medicine maps out for us.
