This course covers myths, facts, contraindications and adaptations to massage for cancer patients. Learn how to address common concerns of cancer patients using both massage and Acupressure techniques. Explore common side effects of chemotherapy, and discover how to adjust massage to these conditions. Adapt massage techniques, pacing, frequency and positioning to maximize oncology clients' safety and comfort during massage. Discover Acupressure points and sequences to ease the journey through cancer treatment. 8 CE hours NCBTMB Approved.
